The city of Manchester Board of Aldermen approved the next phase of the Proposition S Street Improvement project at its regular meeting on March 15. Alderman Paul Hamill (Ward 1) was absent.
M & H Concrete Contractors was awarded the contract as the lowest responsible bid of four received for the concrete and asphalt city street reconstruction. The asphalt streets reconstruction project will be bid separately later this year and awarded as a separate contract.
The work will begin this spring and has a planned end date of Nov. 19, weather permitting.
